The Mailing List - Listserv
The Media Industries Strategic Project listserve is open to the public. If you have questions or would like to be kept informed on issues that are important to the users of the list please feel free to sign up. The subsription process is automated and can be initated with an email.
A listserv is a communication tool that offers its members the opportunity to post suggestions or questions to a large number of people at the same time. When you submit a question or something that you want to share to the listserv, your submission is distributed to all of the other people on that list.
How to Subscribe to the List
Individuals can subscribe to the list by sending a message to: listserv@list.unm.edu Leave the Subject field blank. In the body of message type (with no other text): subscribe MISP-L Firstname Lastname Once a request is approved, a notification will be emailed to the person.
How to Unsubscribe From the List
Subscribers can remove themselves from the list by sending a message to: listserv@list.unm.edu Leave the Subject field blank. In the body of message type (with no other text): unsubscribe MISP-L
Sending Mail to the List
Before submitting a query or a comment to the entire listserv group, monitor the discussions. After a few days, you'll be able to tell what are acceptable submissions.
To submit a question, send your email to MISP-L@list.unm.edu. Everyone that is signed up with the mailing list will recieve a copy of your message.
