Researchers
ARTS Lab aims to use cutting edge technology and practice to explore possibilities for advances in research and arts, product development and creating an environment of eagerness to work with change and new technologies. If your research could be applied to advanced media fields or might include a media component, please consider working with ARTS Lab.
Students
Much of the ARTS Lab project work is performed in project-oriented classes already existing in various UNM departments. Classes involved in Spring 2005 projects include Documentary Filmmaking (MA), Entrepreneurial Management (ECE, ME, Anderson), and Advanced Digital Art (AAH). Additionally, many departments offer independent study classes that could provide opportunities to work with ARTS lab projects.
Artists
ARTS Lab offers an opportunity for involvement from people across the spectrum of artistic endeavor, from digital media artists working with video or 3D animation to writers, painters and dancers, each has different skills and perspectives that could be the element necessary to bring a project together.
Entrepreneurs
For entrepreneurs in tech industries, ARTS Lab endeavors to assist with providing employees with needed skills and experience and creative ways of looking at and testing new products. Whether your new enterprise needs a website, promotional video or animation, ARTS Lab offers an opportunity to build a relationship that strengthens the entire community.
