B.A., NM Highlands University; MBA-e-commerce, University of Phoenix. Shirley Gallegos manages operations, community outreach and events for the ARTS Lab. Her business experience includes training in project and process management, quality management, as well as marketing and public relations. She is also a writer and journalist and award-winning former public relations practitioner, who has been recognized for results and excellence in communications strategies, tactics and tools. Among these are the Arizona Women in Communications Epic Award and the NM Public Relations Society of America’s chapter award of excellence. Shirley’s interests include exploring the power of storytelling in all media, building sustainable communities, exploring the connectedness of all things seen and unseen (including metaphysics and quantum physics), and continuing to unravel the mysteries of human nature—and live to tell about it.
