A live Q and A sharing visions of ten artists from the exhibition Milenio that define chicano futurism in contemporary art.

While fighting discrimination for decades, Chicano (Mexican-American) culture has brought greater awareness to social issues through art, science, and technology. Comparatively, indigenous and Afro-futurism have created a historical foundation, this exhibition Milenio: Chicanismos Del Futuro, presents the visions of ten artists from across the country to help define Chicano futurism in contemporary art. Each artist uses a variety of mediums, futuristic imagery, and historical references to convey what Chicano futurism means to them, displayed in sculpture, AI digital art, and installations.

Featured Artists: Established and emerging Chicano artists from across the country using a variety of traditional and experimental media also featured are: Angel Cabrales, Luis Valderas, Sara Cardona, Celeste De Luna, Mauro Carrera, Jaime Chavez, Tlisza Jaurique, Quintin Gonzales, Ivan Sparz, Laura Alvarez, Sarah Mills, and Cayetano Valenzuela.
