Community Immersive Technology Hub

The Community Immersive Technology Hub (CITH) at UNM’s ARTSLab is an innovative initiative aimed at making cutting-edge Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR) technologies accessible to the broader community.

By providing access to advanced tools, educational resources, and one-on-one training, CITH empowers students, professionals, and community members to explore and apply immersive technologies across various fields. Housed within ARTSLab, CITH fosters collaboration and supports professional development, contributing to workforce innovation and technological advancement throughout New Mexico.

ARTSLab received congressionally directed funds to create The Community Immersive Technology Hub in the Fall of 2024 thanks to the efforts of Senators Martin Heinrich and Ben Ray Luján. Equipment and resources will be available starting Spring 2025.
